29 CFR 1910.178(l)(1)(i): The employer did not ensure that each powered industrial truck operator is competent to operate a powered industrial truck safely, as demonstrated by the successful completion of the training and evaluation specified in this paragraph (l):  (a) Multi-story residential structure jobsite, various locations; On or about November 7, 2024, and dates prior, an employee who operated a JLG model 10054 all-terrain forklift, equipped with a steel platform attachment placed on the forks and used to transport materials and to support personnel at elevated work locations, was not trained, evaluated, and/or certified in accordance with 1910 Subpart N requirements, to ensure competency and safe operation of powered industrial trucks.
