With respect to a worksite located at 496 East Frontage Road, Wrightstown, Wisconsin: the employer has not provided the Agency with abatement certification demonstrating the corrective actions taken to abate the tabulated data sheet for trench box (827430 or 119999). deficiencies identified in citation 1-2(b) of this inspection.

29 CFR 1926.651(c)(2):Means of egress from trench excavations. A stairway, ladder, ramp or other safe means of egress shall be located in trench excavations that are 4 feet (1.22 m) or more in depth so as to require no more than 25 feet (7.62 m) of lateral travel for employees. On or about November 12, 2024 at a worksite located at 496 East Frontage Road, Wrightstown, Wisconsin: employees performing work in a trench that was greater than 5 feet deep without an access/egress ladder or other safe means of egress installed.
