29 CFR 1910.178(n)(4): Industrial truck driver(s) were not required to travel with the load trailing whenever the load obstructed forward view. a. On or about November 12, 2024, the employer did not require forklift operators to travel with their load trailing when their forward view was obstructed. Employees were exposed to struck-by hazards when a forklift operator pushed multiple empty tire racks, Martins Industries, Product No. MSR-6060-WM-2HD, simultaneously using a forklift, Liquefied Petroleum Toyota Model: 8FGCU25, in the shipping/receiving area of the facility with an obstructed forward view.
