29 CFR 1910.133(a)(1): Protective eye and face equipment was not required where there was a reasonable probability of injury that could be prevented by such equipment: a) Faddis Concrete Products, Inc., Truck Loading Bay area (North), on or about November 14th, 2024, and times prior thereto: Employees worked with and around corrosive chemicals including, but not limited to, Sherman Williams Macropoxy 646 (A) during spray painting operations. Employees did not utilize chemical splash goggles while performing mixing and spray-painting operations with corrosive chemicals. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below). This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1910.151(c):Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: a) Faddis Concrete Products, Inc., Truck Loading Bay area (North), on or about November 14th, 2024, and times prior thereto: Employees worked with and around corrosive chemicals including, but not limited to, Sherman Williams Macropoxy 646 (A) during spray painting operations. The company did not maintain an eyewash station for employees, in the event there was exposure to the corrosive chemical(s).
