29 CFR 1926.201(a): Signaling by flaggers and the use of flaggers, including warning garments worn by flaggers did not conform to Part VI of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, (1988 Edition, Revision 3 or the Millennium Edition): (a) Entrance to Sheraton Birmingham Hotel, 2101 Richard Arrington Jr Blvd N, Birmingham: On or about 11/18/2024, the employer exposed employees to struck by hazards in that, warning garments were not utilized while standing in the road and flagging cars in the area where the crane was lifting sign letters to the roof. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).

(a) Entrance to Sheraton Birmingham Hotel, 2101 Richard Arrington Jr Blvd N, Birmingham: On or about 11/18/2024, the employer exposed subcontractor's employees to fall hazards in that, fall protection was not utilized while employees were standing on the flat roof and receiving sign letters being lifted by a crane. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
