1910.176(b) Secure storage. Storage of material shall not create a hazard. Bags, containers, bundles, etc., stored in tiers shall be stacked, blocked, interlocked and limited in height so that they are stable and secure against sliding or collapse. a) R.E. Michel Company, LLC 333 E. Hunting Park Ave. Philadelphia, PA - Warehouse Area - On or about November 18, 2024 , employees were working within the vicinity of a industrial steel racking system which had visible damage and were not secured by having at least one bolt in the base of each upright. The racking system was used to store pallets with various HVAC equipment and parts stacked on the first and second level, exposing employees working near the damaged and unsecured racks to falling objects and rack tip overs.
