29 CFR 1910.177(g)(6): Tires on single piece rim wheels were not contained within a restraining device, positioned behind a barrier or bolted on the vehicle with the lug nuts fully tightened during tire inflation: a) Circle T Logistics Inc. at the address of 1629 Cascade Dr. Marion OH: On or about November 12, 2024, the employer did not ensure employees who service single piece rim wheels utilized restraint device(s) during tire inflation. In this condition employees tasked with inflating semi tires without the benefit of a restraining device were exposed to struck by hazards. Circle T Logistics Inc. was previously cited for a violation of an equivalent Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29CFR 1910.177(g), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1538014, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on September 8, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 617 W. Center St. Marion, OH.
