29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. (a) At the HH Tift Building - On or about November 20, 2024, the employer exposed contracted employees to a fall hazard, in that, contracted employees did not utilize fall protection while removing roofing material from a steep roof with a fall to ground distance of 30 feet.

29 CFR 1926.602(d): The employer did not certify that each operator had been trained and evaluated as required by paragraph 29 CFR 1910.178(l) and as referenced by the note contained in 1926.602(d). (a) At the HH Tift Building - On or about November 20, 2024, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards, in that, each operator of the JCB Loadall (model 512-56, serial number JCB5CH7GCR3393579) had not been trained and evaluated as required by paragraph 29 CFR 1910.178(l).
