29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) Roof: On or about 11/18/2024, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of approximately 23 feet, 10 inches to the lower ground level, in that a fall protection system was not provided to employees engaged in roofing activities. Employee used parapet wall as a walking/working surface.
