29 CFR 1910.217(b)(7)(iii): A means of selecting Off, "Inch," Single Stroke, and Continuous (when the continuous function is furnished) shall be supplied with the clutch/brake control to select type of operation of the press. Fixing of selection shall be by means capable of supervision by the employer: a) On or about November 16, 2024, at a workplace located at 1700 Monroe Street, Two Rivers, Wisconsin in the Metals Department; the employer did not ensure the mode selector switch key was kept under supervision for the Bliss S2-175-72-42 part revolution mechanical power press during operation. b) On or about November 16, 2024, at a workplace located at 1700 Monroe Street, Two Rivers, Wisconsin in the Metals Department; the employer did not ensure the mode selector switch key was kept under supervision for the AIDA NC2-250(2) part revolution mechanical power press during operation. c) On or about November 16, 2024, at a workplace located at 1700 Monroe Street, Two Rivers, Wisconsin in the Metals Department; the employer did not ensure the mode selector switch key was kept under supervision for the AAA-AOTO AC1-15N3 part revolution mechanical power press during operation.
