29 CFR  1910.151(c):Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use:  a)	Wash and Processing Areas:  On or about November 21, 2024, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to eye damage and skin irritation in that the employer did not ensure a ANSI approved emergency eyewash was in the work area for immediate emergency use while employees used corrosive chemicals.  The Bates Turkey Farm, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.1200 (f)(6)(ii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1715912, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on May 30, 2024, with respect to a workplace located at 10711 Hwy 31, Fort Deposit, AL 36032.

29 CFR  1910.1200(f)(6)(ii): Except as provided in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(7) and 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(8), the employer did not ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace was labeled, tagged or marked with the product identifier and words, pictures, symbols, or combination thereof, which provide at least general information regarding the hazards of the chemicals and which, in conjunction with the other information immediately available to employees under the hazard communication program, would provide employees with the specific information regarding the physical and health hazards of the hazardous chemical.  a)	Turkey Packaging Area:  On or about November 21, 2024, and at times prior, the employer did not ensure all secondary containers were labeled with the hazard of a corrosive chemical in a 12-ounce hand spray bottle that contained Ecolab Sink and Surface Cleaner that is used by employees to clean stainless steel work counters.  The Bates Turkey Farm, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.1200 (f)(6)(ii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1715912, citation number 2, item number 1 b and was affirmed as a final order on May 30, 2024, with respect to a workplace located at 10711 Hwy 31, Fort Deposit, AL 36032.

29 CFR  1910.132(d)(2):The employer did not verify, through a written certification, that the required workplace hazard assessment had been performed:  a)	Turkey Processing Plant:  On or about November 21, 2024, and at times prior, the employer failed to verify that the required workplace hazard assessment had been performed through a written certification that identified the workplace evaluated, the person certifying that the evaluation had been performed, the date(s) of the hazard assessment, and which identified the document as a certification of hazard assessment.
