29 CFR 1926.200(c)(1): Caution signs. (1) Caution signs (see Figure G-2) shall be used only to warn against potential hazards or to caution against unsafe practices. a) On and after 10/22/2024, the general contractor Radius Construction did not ensure that signage such as caution signs were posted to warn against potential hazards created by the excavation located at 1028 Depot Street, Cincinnati, OH. 45204, in that the construction site between the new plant 4 and plant 6 had been excavated that created a 10"-14" drop-off from the edge of the blacktop to the excavation. On 10/22/, 10/24, 10/25, 10/26 & 10/28, the excavation exposed Radius' employee, contractors employees and the host company (CMP) forklift operators to the excavation's 10"-14" drop off.
