29 CFR  1910.138(a): The employer did not select and require employee(s) to use appropriate hand protection when employees' hands were exposed to hazards such as those from skin absorption of harmful substances; severe cuts or lacerations; severe abrasion; punctures; chemical burns; thermal burns; and harmful temperature extremes.  a) 2251 Newlins Mill Road Easton, PA 18045, rear of the facility in silane storage: On or about November 26, 2024, employees were exposed to the hazards of silane, and the employer did not ensure employees wore proper fire retardant gloves to protect them from hazards of pyrophoric silane.  Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date.  The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR  1910.1200(h)(3)(ii):Employee training did not include the physical and health hazards of the chemicals in the work area:  a) 2251 Newlins Mill Road Easton, PA 18045, Rear of facility at silane storage: On or about November 25, 2024, an employee was exposed to the hazards of silane in the facility, and the employer did not provide training on the physical and health hazards of silane in accordance with this section.  Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date.  The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
