29 CFR 1910.141(a)(5): A continuing and effective extermination program was not instituted where rodents, insects, or other vermin were detected: a) Garden center near birdseed aisle bay 27: On or about 11/29/2024 and at times prior to and thereafter, the employer exposed employees to unsanitary conditions by failing to implement an effective extermination program and/or adequate housekeeping to control rodents. Lowe's Home Improvement was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.141(a)(5), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1724578, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 5/17/2024, with respect to a workplace located at 15 Commerce Way, Woburn, MA 01801.
