29 CFR 1910.176(a): Aisles and passageways were not kept clear and in good repair with no obstruction across or in aisles that could create a hazard.  (a) Memphis MPA, exit/entrance to PIT storage and charging area: On or about November 27, 2024, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to struck by hazards, in that PIT lanes were blocked by OTRs being used to load ULD containers, forcing Power Industrial Truck (PIT) operators to drive without being able to see clearly through a congested area where pedestrian employees were moving packages from the OTRs to the ULDs.  (b) Memphis MPA, throughout the facility: On or about November 27, 2024, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to struck by and collision hazards, in that PIT lanes being used for two-way PIT traffic and pedestrian traffic, were blocked by OTRs, APCs, and dunnage, forcing PIT operators to pass each other in close proximity while weaving between the containers.
