29 CFR 1910.157(g)(3): Employees who have been designated to use firefighting equipment as part of the emergency action plan were not provided training in the use of the appropriate equipment:(  a) On or about December 2, 2024, at the Community Medical Laboratory, employees who were designated to use fire extinguishers in the event of a fire were not provided hands-on practical training on the use of fire extinguishers, as specified on the employer's Health and Safety Policy and Procedure, which indicates that employees must be trained in the use of fire extinguishers. The employer did not provide hands-on training on how to fight fires.  NOTE: Certification and documentation of abatement must be submitted for this citation item as required by CFR 1903.19(c) and (d), respectively.

29 CFR 1910.304(b)(3)(i): All 125-volt, single-phase, 15- and 20-ampere receptacles installed in wet locations were not equipped with ground-fault circuit-interrupter protection for personnel.  a) On or about December 2, 2024, and at times thereafter, at the Community Medical Laboratory, the employer did not ensure that a receptacle installed near the sink in the Urine Testing Area had ground-fault circuit-interrupter (GFCI) protection which exposed employees to an electrical shock hazard when using the facility.  NOTE: Certification and documentation of abatement must be submitted for this citation item as required by CFR 1903.19(c) and (d), respectively.

29 CFR  1910.303(g)(1): Sufficient access and working space was not provided and maintained about all electric equipment (operating at 600 volts, nominal, or less to ground) to permit ready and safe operation and maintenance of such equipment:  a) On or about December 2, 2024, at the Community Medical Laboratory, Back Office, the employer did not provide sufficient access to the electrical panel which was partially obstructed by a printer avoiding immediate access to the equipment in case of an emergency and exposing employees to electrical hazards.   NOTE: Certification and documentation of abatement must be submitted for this citation item as required by CFR 1903.19(c) and (d), respectively.
