29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1):29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: Location: Back of the building @ 2318 Bay St. Taunton, MA. On or about 12/04/24 employees were exposed to fall hazards of more than 16 feet to the ground below, where a guardrail system or, personal fall arrest system was not in use. MRFC General Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1609587, citation number 2, item number 1 A and was affirmed as a final order on 11/15/22, with respect to a workplace located at 24-34 Sentry Way, Merrimack, NH 03054.
