OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to the recognized hazard of a dust collector located inside of the building that did not meet the requirements of NFPA 654 which created a fire hazard: a) Baler House- On or about December 4, 2024, employees working in the baler house area were exposed to flash fire and fire hazards from a dust collector integrated into a baler system that was not located outside of the building and protected in accordance with NFPA 654. Abatement certification and documentation required.
