29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b):   (a) On or about December 04, 2024 - Lot #46 West Middlebrooke Road, Margaret, AL,  the employer did not ensure fall protection was used by employees engaged in framing activities while exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 9 feet to the ground below.   San Jose Chan Hau was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1620495, citation number 1, item number 2a and was affirmed as a final order on 02/24/2023, with respect to a workplace located at Lot #40 Porter Place, Odenville, AL.  In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation that abatement is complete must be included with your certification.  This documentation may include, but is not limited to, evidence of the purchase of repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence, or written records.
