On or about December 6th, 2024, employees  were required to use tight fitting elastomeric 3M half face respirators when performing spray painting, body work sanding and welding operations were not fit tested prior to initial use and annually thereafter. On or about December 6th, 2024, the employer did not have safety data sheets for employees engaged in spray painting and welding operations. Employees utilized flammable products such as but not limited to compressed gasses, paint thinner containing and paint products which contains ethylbenzene, xylene, methyl acetate and titanium dioxide.  Note: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the case file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by CFR 1903.19
