OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that an employee was exposed to laceration and amputation hazards operating a Okamoto surface grinder.  Location:  1146 Barnum Avenue Bridgeport, CT 06610  On or about September 26, 2024, an employee was exposed to laceration and amputation hazards operating a Okamoto surface grinder without the manufacturer provided table clamp in that, the employee suffered a severe finger laceration and nerve damage contacting the grinding wheel with the worktable unsecured.
