29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation: (a) Second Level, Lot #76, Huspa Avenue, Shelby, AL: On or about December 12, 2024, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards, in that the employer did not ensure that the employees were wearing safety glasses while operating pneumatic nail guns on the second level at heights 6 feet and greater to the ground below while employees were engaged in installing plywood to the floors of the second level of a new residential home.
