29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i):Except as provided elsewhere in this section 29 CFR 1910.28, the employer did not ensure that each employee on a walking-working surface with an unprotected side or edge that is 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level is protected from falling by one or more of the systems described in 29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i): On or about December 16, 2024 the employer did not ensure that the employees working on the platform in Room#1 were protected from falls, in that employees were working close to an unprotected edge, thereby exposing employees fall hazards of approximately 7 feet. On or about December 16, 2024 the employer did not ensure that the employees working on the platform in Room#4 were protected from falls, in that employees were working close to an unprotected edge, thereby exposing employees to fall hazards in excess of 4.6 feet. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
