29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) On or about December 17, 2024, and at times prior, the project manager was on the first-story roof, which was more than 6 feet above the lower level, and was not protected by guardrail system, safety net system, personal fall arrest system nor was the employee provided alternative fall protection measures. b) On or about December 17, 2024, and at times prior, the controlling employer did not ensure 9 employees removing shingles on the first story roof over 6 feet or more above a lower level, and on the second story roof, more than 6 feet or more below a lower level, were protected by guardrail system, safety net system, personal fall arrest system or alternative fall protection measures.
