This was last demonstrated on or about December 19, 2024, when employees were permitted to operate pneumatic nail guns at 70 to 120 p.s.i. and battery powered nail guns without wearing impact-resistant eye protection while framing and decking a residential building.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): At a worksite at 18028 Hwy 124, Centralia, MO 65240: Workers were exposed to fall hazards. This was last demonstrated on or about December 19, 2024, when workers were engaged in framing and decking activities of a residential building. Workers framing the structure and decking the roof were exposed to fall hazards ranging from 8 feet to 10 feet from the eve of the roof deck or trusses to the ground below. No guard rails, safety net system(s), or personal fall arrest system(s) were utilized to prevent falls.

This was last demonstrated on or about December 19, 2024, when workers were engaged in framing activities. Workers framing a residential building were exposed to fall hazards of 8 feet to 10 feet from the deck of the roof or trusses to the ground below. Workers were using an extension ladder(s) to gain access to the trusses and roof deck area, the ladder(s) were placed only 1 foot from the landing that was being accessed.
