29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system: At the jobsite located at 5619 Foster Ave, Overland Park, Kansas, employees engaged in residential roofing activities were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 11 feet from the eave of the roof to the ground. Fall protection was not utilized. Pizano Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1755398, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 11/05/2024, with respect to a workplace located at 23605 51st Terrace, Shawnee, Kansas. Pizano Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1760865, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 11/05/2024, with respect to a workplace located at 4766 Lake Crest Drive, Shawnee, Kansas.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to upper landing surfaces, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladders were used to gain access. At the jobsite located at 5619 Foster Ave, Overland Park, Kansas, employees using a portable extension ladder to access the roof to perform roofing activities were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 11 feet from the roof to the ground. The side rails of the portable extension ladder did not extend at least 3 feet above the landing surface of the roof, and the ladder was not secured. The side rails extended approximately 18 inches. Pizano Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1755398, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 11/05/2024, with respect to a workplace located at 23605 51st Terrace, Shawnee, Kansas.
