Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and shall state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1910.138(a): The employer did not select and require employee(s) to use appropriate hand protection when employees' hands were exposed to hazards such as those from skin absorption of harmful substances; severe cuts or lacerations; severe abrasion; punctures; chemical burns; thermal burns; and harmful temperature extremes: (a) Roses Discount Store #520, 4215 North George Street Ext., Manchester, Pennsylvania - Employees performed task such as manually handling boxes and wood pallets, which exposed employees' hands to punctures from nails and wood splinters, and the employer did not provide employees with puncture resistant gloves, on or about December 23, 2024. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and shall state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
