OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1):The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees including severe burns, to employees in that employees were exposed to fire, flash fire, deflagration, or explosion hazards from unvented dust collectors located outside a building: (a) On or about December 23, 2024 directly under Dry Baghouse, employees engaged in maintenance task without protection from dust explosion were exposed to combustible dust fire hazards. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard includes: Documenting inspection, testing, and maintenance activities that affect the prevention, control, and mitigation of dust fires, flash fires, and explosions.
