29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: (a) On or before 1/6/2025, the employer did not ensure that an employee securing roof membrane at the edge of a flat roof on a new commercial building was protected from fall hazards. The employee was outside the warning line and was not utilizing an approved means of fall protection. This condition exposed employees to a fall hazard of 14 feet.
