One or more methods of machine guarding shall be provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks. a. On or about January 7, 2025, employee(s) engaged in commercial manufacturing activities, located at 5700 Ballard Ave, Lincoln, Nebraska, were exposed to point of operation and/or in-going nip point hazards in that employee(s) were exposed to flying debris hazards when operating a stationary drill press that was not equipped with a point of operation guard. a guard. b. On or about January 7, 2025, employee(s) engaged in commercial manufacturing activities, located at 5700 Ballard Ave, Lincoln, Nebraska, were exposed to point of operation and/or in-going nip point hazards in that employee(s) were exposed to caught in hazards when operating a sign manufacturing press table without a guard.
