The employee was hospitalized on December 23, 2024, after falling from an 8-foot ladder and later died on January 4, 2025. OSHA was subsequently notified by the NYC Medical Examiner's Office on January 5, 2025.  Condition noted on or about 01/07/2025.    NOTE: BECAUSE ABATEMENT OF THIS VIOLATION IS ALREADY DOCUMENTED IN THE INSPECTION CASEFILE, THE EMPLOYER NEED NOT SUBMIT CERTIFICATION OR DOCUMENTATION OF ABATEMENT FOR THIS VIOLATION AS NORMALLY REQUIRED BY CFR 1903.19.
