29 CFR 1926.303(b)(1): Grinding machines were not equipped with safety guards in conformance with the requirements of ANSI B7.1-1970, Safety Code for the Use, Care, and Protection of abrasive wheels, and paragraph (d) of this section. Site: 1694 Millstone Road, Sag Harbor, NY 11963. On or before 01/07/2025 - Employees were exposed to struck-by hazards while using a hand held Makita angle grinder, model: 9557PB, without a guard to cut floor tile. Note: The employer is required to submit abatement certification for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.
