29 CFR 1926.25(a): During the course of construction, alteration, or repairs, debris was not kept cleared from work areas, passageways, and stairs, in and around buildings or other structures. Site: 61-11 166 Street, Flushing, NY 11358. a). On or about January 13, 2025, THC Construction employees working from the second-floor story of a residential home construction doing framing were exposed to slip and fall hazards due to passageways and work areas being accumulated with construction debris such as scrap lumber, protruding nails, and dust. Note: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the case file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by CFR 1903.19.

On or about January 13, 2025, THC Construction employees installing plywood on the roof of a new residential home construction approximately 30 ft above the ground level were not protected from falling by the use of a fall protection system.
