OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees, in that employee were exposed to struck-by of molten metal hazards associated with the operation of the excavator hammer attachment machine. a) Metal Recovery Plant (MRP) hill - 1 Steel Dr. Calvert, AL: On or about December 30, 2024, and times prior to, the employer exposed employees to burn hazards from hot ash while operating the inadequately maintained Volvo EC220 Excavator including deficiencies such as, but not limited to, windows not maintained in their intended condition.
