29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3):Exit route(s) were not kept free and unobstructed: a) On or about January 16, 2025, on the freezer area of the restaurant, exit routes from the freeze were obstructed due to employees having to use a broken handle to open the door to get in and out of the freezer to gather frozen food. b) On or about January 16, 2025, on the south area of the kitchen, employees use an emergency exit door that was not kept free of obstructions in that the door was not accessible after dark, and it did not close. c) On or about January 16, 2025, in the kitchen area to the restaurant area, employees use an emergency exit route that has a door that does not close or open all the way.

The employer did not ensure that when wet processes are used, drainage is maintained and, to the extent feasible, dry standing places, such as false floors, platforms, and mats are provided. a) On or about January 16, 2025, in the dishwasher area; employees work washing dishes in a room where carts are used and loose floor tiles are popping off the floor, making an uneven floor without any mats or dry places to stand. b) On or about January 16, 2025, in the galley area; employees use the sink in the area, but the drain backlogs and causes water to spill to the floor, and was not maintained.
