29 CFR 1910.178(q)(7): Industrial trucks were not examined at least daily before being placed in service Employees were exposed to injury from a struck by hazard. Employees operating powered industrial trucks in the yard failed to conduct examinations of the vehicles. Vehicles had visible defects which adversely affected the safety of the vehicle, including but not limited to damaged seat belts, illegible or missing control labels. damaged electrical enclosures, and missing pedal covers.
