29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) All Temp Refrigeration, Inc. DBA Perry's Heating and Air Conditioning on or about January 16, 2025, at the location of 241 S. Main St. Lima, Ohio: The employer did not ensure employees were protected from falls while performing work tasks atop a low slope roof. Employees tasked with the installation of condenser units atop the structure in proximity of an unguarded edge, were exposed to a fall of approximately 20 feet to the ground below.
