29 CFR 1910.307(c):Equipment, wiring methods, and installations of equipment in hazardous (classified) locations were not intrinsically safe, approved for the hazardous (classified) location, or safe for the hazardous (classified) location: (a)SD OPCO LLC at 45240 146th Street, Summit, SD 57266: On or about and at times prior to January 15, 2025, the employer did not ensure the Forensic Detector Gas Detector Model FD-4A was approved for use in hazardous (classified) locations by a nationally recognized testing laboratory. This condition exposed employees to various hazards associated with classified areas.
