29 CFR 1910.178(m)(5)(iii): When the operator of an industrial truck is dismounted and within 25 ft. of the truck still in his view, the load engaging means were not fully lowered, controls neutralized, and the brakes set to prevent movement. (a) UNFI Distribution Center, 192 Kost Rd, Carlisle, PA: A powered industrial truck was left unattended without the controls being neutralized. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
