29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(13): The top or top step of a stepladder was used as a step: (a) Oil change service desk area - On or about January 29, 2025, the employer permitted an employee to use the top support of a Werner A-frame stepladder as a step while installing data line cable above overhead drop ceiling tiles thereby exposing them to a fall of 5.6 feet that may result in contusions and fractures. Abatement documentation is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
