Lockwood Avenue - On May 14, 2025, Pariso, Inc. dba VP Finish did not determine the 8-hour time-weighted average exposure for employees exposed to chromium (VI) when dipping pieces into a tank of Zincopass 6 Yellow, which contained chromium (VI). No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.

29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(6)(ii): Except as provided in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(7) and 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(8), the employer did not ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace was labeled, tagged or marked with the product identifier and words, pictures, symbols, or combination thereof, which provide at least general information regarding the hazards of the chemicals and which, in conjunction with the other information immediately available to employees under the hazard communication program, would provide employees with the specific information regarding the physical and health hazards of the hazardous chemical: a) 1819 N. Lorel Avenue - On or about January 31, 2025, Pariso, Inc. dba VP Finish did not ensure that the label on each container of hazardous chemicals included information regarding the hazards of the chemical. Employees were exposed to chemicals, including but not limited to nickel when anodizing. b) 1836 N. Lockwood Avenue - On or about January 31, 2025, Pariso, Inc. dba VP Finish did not ensure that the label on each container of hazardous chemicals included information regarding the hazards of the chemical. Employees were exposed to chemicals, including but not limited to, chromium (VI), nitric acid, zinc, nickel and hydrochloric acid, when plating. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
