29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i):Procedures shall be developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees are engaged in the activities covered by this section. On or about February 3, 2025, the employer did not ensure employees utilized the developed and documented energy control procedure(s) to control the potentially hazardous pneumatic (air) energy sources, controlling the discharge chute slide gates of the Blender 1 Machine, Blender 2 Machine, and/or Blender 3 Machine, while performing service and maintenance activities such as, cleaning the blender machines.
