29 CFR 1910.178(m)(3): Unauthorized personnel shall not be permitted to ride on powered industrial trucks. A safe place to ride shall be provided where riding of trucks is authorized. During the month of December 2024, an employee rode on the back of a forklift while a piece of equipment was moved in the machine shop.
