The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards.  On or about October 21, 2024, the employer did not ensure that employees had been trained to recognize and minimize fall hazards. Employees were exposed to fall hazards of up to approximately 18 feet while performing residential roofing activities without using fall protection.  Abatement certification is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).
