29 CFR 1910.242(a): Hand and portable powered tools or equipment were not kept in safe condition: Employees of Alcast, LLC dba Alcast Company were exposed to the hazard of being severely burned by molten aluminum being ejected from the melting furnace when moisture was present on the dipping ladles. Employees were required to transfer molten aluminum from the melting furnace to the holding furnace using steel ladles coated in a water-based ladle wash.

29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1)(i)(A): For electric equipment operating at 600 volts, nominal, or less to ground, and likely to require examination, adjustment, servicing, or maintenance while energized, the depth of the working space in the direction of access to live parts (as measured from the live parts where they were exposed or from the enclosure front or opening where they were enclosed) was less than indicated in Table S-1 of Subpart S of Part 1910: On or about February 4, 2025, employees in the Foundry Department were exposed to injury and not able to access the E-1 WEST and E-1 EAST electric panels due to stored equipment blocking the panels.
