29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to upper landing surfaces, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladders were used to gain access.   a- 380 Route 17N, Upper Saddle River NJ (Portable Extension Ladder): Employees who were engaged in framing/carpentry activities using a portable extension ladder were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 12ft to the asphalt below as the ladder side rails did no9t extend 3ft above the upper landing surface.  Condition observed on or about 02/04/2025 .

29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles.   a- 380 Route 17N, Upper Saddle River NJ (Pneumatic Nail Guns): Employees who were engaged in framing/carpentry activities using pneumatic nail guns were exposed to eye loss and eye injury hazards as a means of eye protection was not utilized.  Condition observed on or about 02/04/2025  GQ Framing & Construction, Inc was previously cited for serious violations of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard,  29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 1748055, Citation # 1, Item # 1, issued on 05/23/2024 with respect to a workplace located at 10 Lehigh Ave, Clifton NJ 07012. This citation was not provided a final order date.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:  a- 380 Route 17N, Upper Saddle River NJ (Unprotected framed edge): Employees who were engaged in framing/carpentry activities were positioned on an unprotected framed floor and exposed to fall hazards of approximately 12ft to the asphalt below as a means of fall protection was not utilized.  Condition observed on or about 02/04/2025
