29 CFR 1910.134(c)(2)(i): Respirator users were not provided with the information contained in Appendix D to 29 CFR 1910.134 when the employer determined that any voluntary respirator use was permissible: At the workplace located at 1601 Village West Pkwy. Kansas City, Kansas, employees engaged in furniture repair and facilities maintenance activities in the preparation bay and upper cage areas of the facility were exposed to respiratory hazards. Employees were permitted to voluntary use N95 respirators in the workplace and were not provided the information contained in Appendix D. Several N95 respirators were observed improperly stored on tool carts utilized by furniture repairers.
