29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  a) On or about February 6, 2025, on the south side of the jobsite, at 452 Cherry Hill Homes Street, Florence, AL: the employer did not ensure that fall protection was utilized by employees while performing framing activities in height more than 6 feet.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards.  (a) On or about 02/06/2025, at the jobsite located at 452 Cherry Hill Homes Street, Florence, AL: the employer did not provide fall protection training to employees while performing framing activities at heights 6 feet or more.  In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation demonstrating that abatement is complete must be included with your certification. This documentation may include, but is not limited to, evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.
