OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck-by and crush-by hazards when utilizing damaged steel storage racks: a) At Synergy Equipment Pumps Division, located at 8108 US HWY 301, TAMPA, FL, in the shop: On or about February 5, 2025, the employer exposed employees to struck-by and crush hazards in that the employer continued use of storage bays of a green and orange freestanding metal racking system that had a damaged upright column. b) At Synergy Equipment Pumps Division, located at 8108 US HWY 301, TAMPA, FL, in the shop: On or about February 5, 2025, the employer exposed employees to struck-by and crush hazards in that rack systems in the shop were being loaded with unknown maximum storage weight capacities.
