29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1):29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: Worksite located at 1106 S. Mitchell St., Warrensburg, Missouri- Employees were exposed to fall hazards while walking on a deck level that did not have guardrails installed to prevent employees from falling off the edge. The employees would dismount from a ladder on to the edge of the deck level in order to vacate the building.
